Emerging security issues in the mediterranean
The Royal Institute for Strategic Studies organized October 1st, 2015, in partnership with the Mediterranean Foundation for Strategic Studies, a meeting on the theme: "Emerging security issues in the Mediterranean".
Attended by Moroccan and French experts of security issues, this meeting emphasized recent security development in the Mediterranean and examined cooperation mechanisms at bilateral and multilateral level, able to strengthen regional security.
A special session was devoted to the threats prompted by the terrorist movement "daesh", through highlighting the ideological referential that underpins indoctrination and recruitment activities of this movement, particularly among youth, in order to mobilize and deploy them in areas of tension.
