Morocco political field outlook : what levers for a systemic cohesion ?
IRES organized Thursday, September 8, 2016, a round table dedicated to the review of the current and future dynamics of the Moroccan political field, which was attended by representatives of political parties, political scientists and civil society actors.
The discussions held during this meeting highlighted the structural changes of the Moroccan political landscape, in terms of endogenous and exogenous stakes and challenges. Other relevant aspects were discussed, in particular, the requirements to consolidate the gains of the democratic transition of the Kingdom, the renovated approaches to adopt so as to improve the operationalization of some structural reforms, such as the advanced regionalization, the new governance approach to implement in order to reinvent citizen trust in representative institutions as well as the role of civil society to further anchor participatory democracy.
