Morocco’s accession to ECOWAS: issues, challenges and perspectives

The Royal Institute for Strategic Studies organized, on October 23, 2017, a seminar dedicated to the discussion of the preliminary findings of the study entitled "Morocco's accession to ECOWAS: issues, challenges and perspectives" to which took part a panel including diplomats, public and private actors as well as academic experts.

This study, which is part of the IRES program on Morocco's external relations and diplomacy, identified the issues and challenges related to adhering to ECOWAS and made some proposals to succeed in the integration of Morocco into this community.
