نظم المعهد الملكي للدراسات الاستراتيجية، يومي 4 و 5 دجنبر 2015 بمقر المعهد، بشراكة مع منتدى الدراسات المستقبلية ومديرية الاستشراف باليونسكو، لقاء دولي حول موضوع: "مستقبل الماء و المجال الحضري في أفريقيا".

و قد خصص هذا اللقاء، الذي حضره خبراء من دول أفريقيا جنوب الصحراء و منطقة الشرق الأوسط، لتملك أدوات التحليل المتقدم في مجال اليقظة الاستشرافية و تطبيقها في قضيتين هيكليتين كالأمن المائي و التنمية الحضرية. كما نوقشت جوانب أخرى، بما في ذلك إمكانات التعاون بين المؤسسات الممثلة للاستفادة من خبراتها المشتركة في مجال الدراسات المستقبلية.
