The future of Morocco's global professions

The Royal Institute for Strategic Studies (IRES) organized, from October 25 to 29, 2021, a series of workshops to present and discuss the preliminary results of its foresight exercise relating to global professions in Morocco.

These workshops are part of the study on the future of global professions in Morocco. The idea of launching this study came during the preparation of the IRES 2021 strategic report, dedicated to the post-Covid world. According to this report, the Covid-19 pandemic could lead to a reconfiguration of global value chains, which could be replaced by short production circuits and regional value chains.

The organization of this series of workshops, in which representatives of the public sector, professional federations, as well as university experts took part, provided a suitable opportunity to provide a cross-perspective on the future of Morocco's global professions.
