On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the agreements of La Celle Saint-Cloud, the Arab World Institute held November 9, 2015 in Paris, in partnership with the Royal Institute for Strategic Studies (IRES) and with the support of the Embassy of the Kingdom in France, a colloquium on the theme "Morocco France : a shared history, common challenges", which was attended by Moroccan and French personalities.
At the opening session of the colloquium, Mr. Mohammed Tawfik MOULINE, IRES' Director General, presented a communication which highlighted the strategic importance of Morocco-France relations and the prospects for their strengthening with view to the challenges of the regional and international context. Besides bilateral dimension, the focus was made on the opportunities that Morocco and France would gain together through investing in some geographical areas of common interest, namely the Euro-Mediterranean region, the African space and the Atlantic area.
