Social inequality and cohesion: public policy issues and orientations

IRES organized, December 22, 2015, a seminar devoted to the discussion of the preliminary findings of the study entitled: "Social inequality and cohesion: challenges and public policy guidelines".

Attended by senior officials from some institutions and ministerial departments as well as Moroccan and foreign experts, the seminar was dedicated to the diagnosis of the Moroccan development model and the proposal of some public policy options in order to fight against inequalities in their multiple dimensions, through reference to relevant foreign experiences in this matter.

Discussions highlighted, inter alia, the importance for Morocco to strengthen the overall coherence of its policies, in order to make it an effective instrument for correcting social inequalities, a vector of strengthening the living together and an accelerator of the process of emergence of the Kingdom.
