A delegation from the Ministry of Defense of the United Arab Emirates, Chaired by General Abdellah AL-HASHIMI, Executive Director of Strategic Analysis, was received by Mr. Mohamed Tawfik MOULINE, IRES Director General, September 3rd, 2015. The Discussions focused on the role of think tanks in enlightening strategic decision-making process through the proposal of public policies based on anticipation of structural changes occurring at the national, regional and international levels.
A brief presentation of IRES’ missions, its mode of functioning and the content of its work program was made in order to enable members of the delegation to get thoughtful insights from the Institute experience in conducting strategic analysis and foresight thinking.
