Mrs. Giovanie BIHA, Deputy Executive Secretary of the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA), paid a visit to IRES, December 8, 2015.
During his meeting with Mr. Mohammed Tawfik MOULINE, Director General of the Institute, emphasis was made on the role of think tanks in Africa and the levers to strengthen their contribution in terms of enlightening public policies options. Other aspects were discussed including possibilities of collaboration between IRES and ECA on structural issues that concern the future of Africa, among which climate change and governance of natural resource.
Took part in this meeting, Mr. Nassim OULMANE, Acting Director of the North Africa Office of ECA, and Mr. Said MOUFTI, Director of Research at IRES.
