Visit to the IRES of Her Excellency Claudia WIEDEY, Ambassador Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Morocco

Her Excellency Claudia WIEDEY, Ambassador Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Morocco, paid a working visit to IRES on October 1, 2019.

During this meeting with Mr. Mohammed Tawfik MOULINE, Director General of the Institute, a presentation was given of the IRES’ programme studies, with a particular focus on issues of interest to the European Union, including climate change and mobility. This launched a debate on the future of relations between Morocco and the European Union in the light of the changes taking place within this area and a reflection on the appropriate approach to implement the " Joint Political Declaration" adopted at the end of the 14th session of the Morocco-European Union Association Council.

The proceedings of this meeting were attended by MM. Calin ILIE, Political Counselor at the Delegation of the European Union to Morocco, Mohammed BELMAHI, Former Ambassador of Morocco to the United Kingdom and Associate Researcher at IRES, and El Mehdi BOUDRA, Researcher at the Institute.
