A visit to the IRES by a high-level delegation from Huawei Technologies.

On December 21, 2023, a high-level delegation from Huawei Technologies, led by Mrs. Nora CAO, Vice President of Government Affairs and Communications at the Chinese multinational, paid a working visit to the Royal Institute for Strategic Studies (IRES). This meeting is part of the strategic dialogue initiated in 2018 between IRES and Chinese think tanks and operators, aimed at closely identifying changes on an international scale, decoding the complexity of the world, and constituting a force of proposals beneficial to the strategic interests of the Kingdom of Morocco and the People's Republic of China. Discussions focused on the digital economy, cybersecurity, and digital sovereignty. There were also discussions on the prospects for strengthening cooperation between IRES and Huawei, with a view to deepening forward-looking thinking on issues of common interest.
