IRES’ Director General, Mr. Mohammed Tawfik MOULINE, received, on April 6, 2017, His Excellency Pedro PIRES, President of the Leadership Institute (IPP) and former President of the Republic of Cape Verde.
After a presentation of the activities of the two institutions, discussions focused on security issues in West Africa and Sahel, development priorities in both Morocco and Cape Verde and the multidimensional approach adopted by the Kingdom in the promotion of moderate Islam and the fight against extremism. Other aspects were discussed, including the possibilities of collaboration between the two institutes in some areas of common interest.
Took part to this meeting, Mrs. Indira BARRETO RODRIGUES PIRES, Executive Director of IPP, Mr. Mohamed H'MIDOUCHE, Honorary Consul of Cape Verde in Morocco, and Mr. Said Moufti, Research Director at IRES.
