The Royal Institute for Strategic Studies (IRES) actively participated in the "GITEX AFRICA Morocco" Forum, which took place in Marrakech from May 31 to June 2, 2023. During the event, the Director General of IRES, Mr. Mohammed Tawfik MOULINE, delivered a "Keynote Speech" on the topic of "Digital disruption: a catalyst for Africa's autonomous development."

In addition to the forum, discussions on digital transformation in Africa were held between the Director General of IRES and senior representatives from international institutions operating in the digital sector. Among them were Ms. Trixie LOHMIRMAND, CEO of KAOUN International, and Messrs. Tonny BAO, Frank XIANG, and Jerry CUI, respectively serving as Vice President of Public Relations, Vice President of Government Affairs, and Director General of Huawei Morocco.
