IRES held, on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 a seminar on the theme "Constitution and Family Policy : what operationalization ?" which was attended by public officials, academicians and civil society actors directly concerned by the family situation and its future development in Morocco.

Participants discussed the sociological realities of the family, the important changes it undergoes and discussed the contours of a new family policy in the light of the provisions of the new Constitution and its agenda and the necessary conceptual consistency and practice that should base the new policy.

The discussion also focused on the need for the involvement of various public, private and voluntary organizations in the debate prior to the establishment of the Advisory Board of Family and Childhood.
