How to develop a rural middle class in sustainable way ?
The Royal Institute for Strategic Studies (IRES) organized, on Wednesday 02 December 2020, a videoconference dedicated to the presentation and discussion of the preliminary conclusions of the study entitled "How to develop a rural middle class in sustainable way?", attended by senior officials of the institutions concerned as well as experts in political, economic, social, environmental and cultural issues.
Focusing on a complex theme, having a multidimensional nature, this study, carried out in a context marked by the Covid-19 pandemic, aims to establish an inventory of the rural middle class, to analyze the public policies intended to the rural world and to formulate strategic proposals for the emergence and development of this social category.
