Social networks in Morocco
The Royal Institute for Strategic Studies (IRES) organized, on Wednesday 07 October 2020, a videoconference dedicated to the presentation and discussion of the preliminary conclusions of the study entitled "Social networks: the impact on the economy and Moroccan society ", in which took part senior officials of the institutions concerned as well as experts in issues related to digital communication.
Focusing on a complex topic, having a multidimensional nature, this study, carried out in a context of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, aims to better understand the impacts and issues raised by social networks in Morocco. Its main object revolves around the following question: what virtual world is being built in Morocco and what are / would be its consequences on the Moroccan economy and society?
