Videoconference: Development of renewable energies in Morocco: lessons and perspectives

The Royal Institute for Strategic Studies (IRES) organized, a videoconference devoted to the presentation and discussion of the preliminary conclusions of the study entitled "Development of renewable energies in Morocco: lessons and perspectives", on June 24, 2020.The purpose of this is to take stock, of the development of solar and wind energy achievements from 2009 to 2019, to examine the relevance of the technological choices adopted, to deepen the industrial integration issue, to explore the possibilities in terms of regional cooperation and make proposals for public policies capable of promoting an accelerated and intelligent development of renewable energies in Morocco, while referring to successful international experiences.This videoconference was attended by senior representatives from the ministries of energy and industry, national energy operators and the Energy Federation.
