International workshop on the theme “Energy transition and renewable energies in Africa”.
As part of its reflection on global issues, the Royal Institute for Strategic Studies (IRES) organized, jointly with the international NGO START and the Quebec Office in Rabat, Thursday January 30, 2020, a workshop conference on the theme "Energy transition and renewable energies in Africa".
This workshop, which brought together representatives of international organizations and institutional actors and saw the participation of Moroccan and foreign scientists and experts in the field of renewable energies, was an excellent opportunity to highlight certain African experiences in energy transition and to explore opportunities for cooperation and exchange of expertise in the field of renewable energy development between Morocco and African countries, especially those of ECOWAS.
