The proceedings of the scientific day on the Ocean

The scientific day on the Ocean, organized by the Royal Institute for Strategic Studies (IRES), on February 19, 2020, is part of the foresight reflection that the Institute is carrying out on global issues and in particular that related to the oceans. It is intended to contribute to the international debate on the need to develop ocean sciences in order to better understand the stressors impacting the oceans and to identify sustainable solutions.

The publication of the proceedings of this scientific day comes on the occasion of the launch on January 1, 2021 by the United Nations of the 2021-2030 Decade of Ocean Sciences for Sustainable Development.
