Asia – Pacific dynamics and its impact on the global balances : what implications for Morocco ?
As part of the "international relations" component of its work program , IRES organized December 26, 2013 , a seminar on the theme " Asia -Pacific dynamics and its impact on the global balances : what implications for Morocco ? " attended by diplomats, public and private actors and experts on international issues .
This seminar emphasized the determinants of the centrality of the Asia-Pacific region within global geopolitical and geo-economic balances, the resulting direct and indirect effects for Morocco as well as the strategic actions the country should undertake in order to anticipate the geostrategic changes looming ahead. Other aspects have been discussed in detail including the place of Asia in the priorities of Morocco’s foreign policy, the strengths and weaknesses of economic cooperation relations with this region and the prospects of its extension to other geographical areas of common interest, particularly Africa .
