The "Green Hydrogen" sector: challenges and prospects for Morocco

On January 31, 2024, IRES organized a seminar to present and discuss its study on the "Green Hydrogen" sector in Morocco. The emphasis during the meeting was on adopting integrated governance, substantial investment in human capital, expanding research and development programs, establishing an innovative financing system, and promoting consortia between public and private sectors. These efforts aim to realize the Moroccan government's Vision of establishing a comprehensive "Morocco Offer" in the green hydrogen industry, positioning the country among high-potential nations in this future-oriented field.
