His Excellency Mr. Valery VOROBIEV, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Morocco facilitated, February 12, 2015, a conference-debate on the theme:" Morocco-Russia strategic partnership: reality and prospects", which was attended by diplomats, representatives of ministerial departments and experts of international relations

This conference focused on the priorities of Russian foreign policy, amidst regional and international geopolitical changes as well as the vision of Russia regarding the Arab world in general and the Maghreb in particular. Furthermore, the conference addressed the current state of relations between Morocco and Russia and the levers of their reinforcement in key area of common interest.

Discussions emphasized, among other things, the importance of accelerating the implementation of the strategic partnership declaration concluded between the two countries, in particular by strengthening its economic content, encouraging cooperation between private sectors and civil society actors of both side and expanding the partnership between the two parties to other geographical areas of common interest, through the triangular cooperation approach.
