  • Presentation of the preliminary conclusions of the study on Morocco-Northern Europe relations

The Royal Institut for Strategic Studies organized, on October 5, 2016, a seminar devoted to the discussion of the preliminary conclusions of the study entitled "Morocco-Northern Europe Countries' relations : Reality and Perspectives", with the participation of the Ambassadors of Scandinavian countries accredited to Rabat, Head of the European Union delegation in Morocco, public and private actors and academic experts.

The seminar emphasized the strengths and weaknesses of Morocco's cooperation with the countries of northern Europe and identifying the levers that could widen the scope of common interests at bilateral and multilateral level. Other aspects were discussed, including the opportunity for Morocco to develop an active communication strategy towards the Scandinavian countries in order to better understand the dynamics of progress of the Kingdom and the need to bring together the actors of civil society on both sides to strengthen mutual understanding and establish cooperation on a firm and lasting basis.
