The Royal Institute for Strategic Studies organized on Monday 2nd  November 2015 a conference debate on the theme "For strengthened a cultural diplomacy " with the participation of members of the Government, senior officials of the public sector and  the representatives of the diplomatic corps and civil society.

The seminar was the opportunity to present the preliminary conclusions of the study undertaken by the Institute on cultural diplomacy as well as debating the successful experiences of the countries represented during the seminar. On another hand, the participation of the representatives of civil society and public organizations involving in the cultural sector nationally and internationally has enriched the debate.

Recognizing the deeply intertwined dynamic between "national cultural policy and cultural diplomacy" the participants emphasized during the discussions on the evolution of the objectives and functions of the cultural diplomacy, in the context of the world changings, in terms of soft power, cultural influence, bridging societies and dialogue of civilizations.
