The Royal Institute for Strategic Studies (IRES) took part in the conference organized by the Moroccan Diplomatic Club in Rabat April 28, 2015, in celebration of the National Day of Diplomacy, through a communication of its Director General, Mr. Mohammed Tawfik MOULINE on the theme Morocco’s Diplomacy in the light of global geostrategic mutations.

This communication was structured in two parts. The first part presented the key findings of a SWOT analysis and some foreign policy proposals to meet the threats and seize the opportunities of the international context as well as to anticipate breaks looming at the long run. The second part of the communication has reviewed the geopolitical landscape of Morocco and the responses that the Kingdom should make on the strategic, economic, cultural and human level to optimize its diplomatic action across the immediate neighborhood, the areas of belonging and other regions, namely America and Asia.
