As part of the 42nd edition of the International Cultural Moussem of Assilah, the Director General of IRES participated in the International Symposium, held from November 3 to 5, 2021, through a communication on the future of democracy in the light of the major global challenges in economic, social and environmental terms.
After taking a forward-looking vision of the new post-Covid world and the rapid structural changes, Mr. Mohammed Tawfik MOULINE highlighted the need for a new governance that strengthens democracy and accelerates march towards development as well as a new conception of the State: that of "Care". These two imperatives make the transition from electoral democracy to citizen democracy opportune.
