The Director General of IRES, Mr. Mohammed Tawfik MOULINE, participated in the 2019 edition of the African Congress of Econometric Society, organized on July 11 and 12, 2019, in Rabat, by Bank Al-Maghrib and "Econometric Society ". In his speech, during the plenary session on the theme "New model of Moroccan development and economic integration in the African space", Mr. MOULINE highlighted the achievements and shortcomings of the current development model of Morocco as well as the pillars on which the new model could be based.

Regarding African economic integration, Mr. MOULINE highlighted the challenges and opportunities of Morocco's possible accession to ECOWAS. He also discussed the adjustments to be made by Morocco in terms of public policies for active participation in the implementation of the continental free trade area.
