IRES took part in the conference-debate organized, April 15, 2014 in Rabat, by the House of Counselors in the framework of the working visit of a delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of NATO, on the theme: "Sahel: the security challenges ".
At this conference, the Director General of the Institute, Mr. Mohammed Tawfik MOULINE, delivered a communication which highlighted the security risks arising from the Sahel region and the regional and international mechanisms of cooperation established in order to cope with these risks as well as the role played by Morocco in terms of contribution to the stabilization and development of this highly sensitive area.
