As a partner, The Royal Institute of Strategic Studies (IRES) took part in the annual Forum of Crans Montana, held in Dakhla on 17-18 March 2017. Mr Mohammed Tawfik MOULINE, Director General of IRES, chaired the session on the migration phenomenon towards Europe with a panel of about ten speakers from Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, France, Italy, Iraq, Poland and Senegal. During this session, the participants stressed the importance of the humanist approach to the issue of migration as well as a unified European policy, and the need for the African continent to take control of its destiny to mobilize its own potential for its development and giving hope to African youth.
