Future of Forest Ecosystems in Morocco

As part of its work on climate change and sustainable development, the Royal Institute for Strategic Studies (IRES) organized a study day on September 12, 2024, dedicated to reflecting on the future of forest ecosystems in Morocco. Bringing together a panel of high-level experts in the fields of forestry, pastoral economy, rural development, and climate change, this meeting provided an ideal opportunity to update knowledge and cross-reference approaches in order to understand the latest developments in the issue of forest ecosystems and the range of challenges it projects. The discussions resulted in the emergence of some innovative ideas for the sustainability and preservation of the national forest heritage.
