Morocco’s energy transition, in the light of the country’s new African strategy
The Royal Institute for Strategic Studies organized a seminar, on 21 June 2018, to discuss the preliminary findings of the study on "Morocco's energy transition, in the light of the country's new African strategy".
The meeting, which was attended by a panel of representatives from the public and private sectors as well as energy experts, was an opportunity to present Africa's energy situation, the challenges and the opportunities ahead and energy cooperation in the various regional groupings and to discuss the topic of the Morocco's energy transition and the possibilities for its acceleration, in the light of Morocco's return to the African Union and the prospect of its future accession to ECOWAS.
