Natural disasters: Morocco's capacity to anticipate and public policy orientations

On October 12, 2023, during the IMF/World Bank Annual Meetings hosted by Morocco, IRES organized a forward-looking event addressing "Natural disasters: Morocco's capacity to anticipate and public policy orientations in economic, financial, social, and environmental terms." The event critically examined Morocco's preparedness for natural disasters, evaluating their impact on society and the national economy, assessing the early warning system, and evaluating the government's ability to anticipate and manage related crises.
