As part of its mission dedicated to follow up and analysis of key national issues, IRES organized, on March 10, 2017, a round table on issue of the Moroccan Sahara.

Attended by diplomats and academic experts, the meeting examined recent developments of the external and internal context related to the issue of the Moroccan Sahara and highlighted the main challenges and stakes involved.

The discussions focused, also, on the identification of some levers that could to enable Morocco to further defend its legitimate rights in its southern provinces in terms of domestic and foreign policy.
