Security governance in Africa and the reform of the African Peace and Security Architecture
The Royal Institute for Strategic Studies (IRES) organized a study day on security governance in Africa and the reform of the African Peace and Security Architecture on spetember 25, 2019.
Several personalities from the academic world, diplomats and representatives of the national security operation participated to this meeting. this study day took place in two sessions. The first one was devoted to the presentation and discussion of the preliminary results of the study, conducted by IRES, on security governance in Africa. The second was an opportunity to discuss the contours of the reform of the African Peace and Security Architecture and to understand the place and role of Morocco in this context.
