Mr. Mohammed Tawfik MOULINE, Director General of the Royal Institute for Strategic Studies (IRES), actively participated in the Meetings of the Euro-Mediterranean University of Fez on the Alliance of Civilizations, held on December 6 and 7, 2024 under the theme: "Rebuilding Trust for a United and Pluralistic World."

In his opening speech, Mr. MOULINE highlighted the urgent need to restore trust on a global scale, at a time when geopolitical, environmental, social, health, and institutional crises are undermining the very foundations of international relations. He advocated for transparency, equity, responsibility, and respect for others as guiding principles to effectively address global challenges.

While emphasizing Morocco's commitment to peaceful coexistence and intercultural dialogue, he stressed the urgent need to reform international institutions, promote inclusive and proactive governance, combat misinformation, and promote safe and orderly migration. These actions, he argued, are major levers for building a global identity and constructing a united, supportive world that is proud of its diversity.
